Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances and the exemptions listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason(s):
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
- Aim for large interactive controls WCAG 2.1 AAA 2.5.5 (123 issues) Interactive components on a page, such as buttons or fields, should ideally be large enough to be easily used by people with motor impairments. The recommended size is 44 x 44 CSS pixels, with some exceptions - not all all the buttons and navigation link controls are large enough.
- Ensure controls clearly indicate when they are selected WCAG 2.2 AAA 2.4.13 - it is not obvious when some links are selected (97 issues).
- Ensure links explain they open in a new tab WCAG 2.0 AAA 3.2.5 - not all links to documents or external websites say that they open in a new tab (7 issues).
- Ensure captions are provided for all pre-recorded audio and video WCAG 2.0 A 1.2.2 (2 issues) - two films need captions adding.
- Ensure functionality is available to keyboard users WCAG 2.0 A 2.1.1 (5 issues) - some links need to be reviewed.
- Ensure HTML is in a meaningful sequence WCAG 2.0 A 1.3.2 (44 pages) A page should still make sense if its content is experienced in a linear order. For example, if each part of the page is read out by a screen reader - these need to be manually reviewed.
