Apprentice - IT Support. Apprenticeship study: Level 3 Information communications technician.

Why did you choose to do an apprenticeship?

So I can learn on the job and build up experience within the IT field.

Do you have an idea of what you would like to do after your apprenticeship?

Progress further in the IT field.

Did you know about the council before starting your apprenticeship, if so, what?

I knew a bit about the council, such as what the council does to benefit locals, and what it does for the community overall of West Suffolk. 

What advice would you give to future applicants?

Learn as much as you possibly can about your job role and don’t be afraid to ask questions regardless of how simple or complex they are.

Name three things have you learnt whilst working at the council

• How many branches and businesses the council supports.
• More about IT than I used to know.
• What roles are within the council.
